There are children who have lived more horror than most of us will ever understand.

Bubbles Not Bombs is an NGO which exists to get bubbles directly to children affected by war and conflict.

Through this work, we aim to:

Work with parents, therapists, and educational providers to create moments of therapeutic regulation through wonderment and play

Enable children to simply be children.

All whilst amplifying their voices and stories

Bubbles Not Bombs launched on 11th April in Barcelona alongside the Flotilla sail to Gaza. Our bubbles were accepted onto the Education Boat a Humanitarian Aid, bringing respite through play to children in conflict zones. It was a pleasure to meet photographer and social justice activist @misanhharriman, a new supporter of our mission. You too can be a part of this movement. Saturday 4th April 2026 is International Solidarity with Palestinian Children Day. Children in Palestine continue to experience unprecedented aggression at the hands of Israeli forces. At Bubbles Not Bombs we’ve worked alongside refugee children for 15 years. We’ve seen it with our own eyes: something as simple as bubbles can change a moment. Calm fear. Invite connection. Create space to breathe. Because play is not a luxury. It is our aim to give children a moment to play, to escape the horrors of conflict. Full details of how to support our mission coming next week.
